Created for Arts for Biden-Harris Colorado in September with the goal of engaging and celebrating Colorado artists, rallying support for the arts in a new administration, and supporting the Biden-Harris campaign. With very little time and a pandemic preventing us from filming statewide, we quickly developed an inclusive concept around a poem by Colorado State Poet Laureate, Bobby LeFebre. We captured Bobby's heartfelt message in studio, along with artists and activists at Denver's Crush Walls to represent how the visual artists express their voice and values, and worked with Colorado's Music Ambassador, Stephen Brackett and musicians Saja Butler and Julia Mendiolea, to create an original score. This short is currently nominated for an Emmy.
